How to apply
- Go to a Grama One, Karnataka One or Bangalore One centre — or use the Seva Sindhu portal
- Give your ration card number and Aadhaar
- Confirm your bank account details
- Take the acknowledgement — registration is completely free
How to check status / payment
- Check your passbook / bank SMS for the DBT credit
- If there's a problem, ask for status at a Grama One / Karnataka One centre
- Confirm at your bank that the account is Aadhaar-seeded (NPCI)

Under Karnataka’s Gruha Lakshmi scheme, the woman named as head of family on the ration card gets ₹2,000 a month straight into her bank account (DBT). Antyodaya, BPL and APL card holders can all apply. Registration is free and has no last date.
Money not coming?
Check at your bank that the account is Aadhaar-seeded and eKYC is done. Make sure the head of family’s name is right on the ration card. If the problem remains, visit a Grama One / Karnataka One centre or the Women & Child Development office.
